Spotlight on Jeremy Remmy
Jeremy Remmy moved into our office and became an associate of Still Water in May, 2009. Jeremy spent 20 years searching for his life’s path. A former thermo-technical engineer at a nuclear power plant, in 1996 Jeremy took the bold step of following his heart. He walked away from the security of a steady job and the familiarity of home, and moved from the Ukraine to the United States.
Initially, Jeremy worked as a caregiver for a health services company in Chicago. He gave therapeutic massages to the elderly and the disabled. It was during this time that Jeremy became aware of his own unique gifts – his nurturing touch helped people heal.
Inspired by the awakening to his ability to help people heal, once again Jeremy changed his life. He enrolled in the Chicago School of Massage Therapy, and continued to gain experience while working as a volunteer at Lutheran General Hospital. He later provided chair massage for the employees of Baxter Co over 4 years. Upon graduation in 2000, Jeremy also began working at the holistic clinic “The Way to Optimal Health”, where he has been able to combine his passion and expertise of massage, with his understanding of the links to mind, body, and spirit. There Jeremy’s talents and abilities has been nurtured and grew by joining the phenomenal team of holistic practitioners lead by Dr. Darren Weissman. He worked there over 8 years and earned a brilliant reputation as masterful professional, as gifted healer and as a person.
In addition to being a deep and intuitive listener, Jeremy provides his clients expertise in different types of deep tissue massage, Raindrop Technique™, myofascial release, acupressure, reflexology, muscle therapy, pregnancy, sport, chair, hot rock, lymph drainage, aromatherapy, spiritual-emotional healing, and some other specialized forms of massage therapy.

Jeremy’s clients emerge from his massage haven with lasting states of peace and confidence, more freedom in movement and self-expression, a deeper understanding of their own body signals and needs, as well as feeling better about self and life.
Jeremy and his wife, Natasha enjoy spending their time actively in nature, traveling and expanding their spirituality, sharing it with many friends.
