Leanne Reed, PT
Leanne has been practicing since 1999 and is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, MA. She has also graduated from the Center of Advanced Therapeutics in Denver, CO where she completed a 525 hour massage therapy certification in 2000.
Leanne founded Still Water Physical Therapy and Massage, Ltd in the summer of 2006 with the vision to create a center that combined high quality traditional and alternative therapies along with superior customer service.
Leanne’s passion for her work and desire to help people have led her to seek advanced training in a variety of manual skills, including myofascial release, CranioSacral Therapy, spinal manipulation and muscle energy techniques. She is currently pursuing advanced training in dynamic stability and movement impairment syndromes.
Kathy Buddell, PT
Kathy is a licensed physical therapist and brings over 20 years of experience to Still Water. Kathy is a graduate from the University of Illinois and has been part of the Still Water team since the start of 2008. Her years of experience have led her to work in a variety of therapy settings including outpatient orthopedics, pediatrics (parent/infant + early childhood), and hospital (outpatient, acute and home care). She has an enthusiasm for manual therapy and her continuing education includes training in Myofascial Release , Visceral Manipulation and Lymph Drainage Therapy. She is currently pursuing further course work in myofascial/lymph drainage therapies in addition to dynamic stability/motor control retraining.

Dana Barnett
Dana joined Still Water March 2010. She is a fully certified STOTT PILATES (mat, all equipment, and special populations) instructor with a multi-sport background and experience in cheerleading, gymnastics, dance, and color guard. Dana has been teaching Pilates in the Chicago and North Shore area since 2007 and is currently also teaching at the only STOTT PILATES licensed training facility in Illinois. Dana enjoys training clients of all ages and background. She has had experience with weight loss training, diabetes, classical dancers, pre/post-natal, pilates for teens and coordinating exercise with physical therapists for injuries and post-surgical clients. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Child Psychology from Vanderbilt University.
David Fireside, LMT
David is from the Soma Institute, The National School of Clinical Massage Therapy, is licensed by the State of Illinois as well as being a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association. He is the newest member of the Still Water team.
After years in the business world David decided to pursue a new direction that would allow him to utilize his undergraduate degree in life sciences and his love for working with people. As someone who has dealt with chronic pain issues himself, he knows the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle while also appreciating the immediate relief and benefits one can get from a massage.
David is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana with BS degree in Psychology/Biology and is Nationally Certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Body work. David's accomplishments include being the 2010 American Massage Therapy Association (Illinois Chapter) recipient of the 'Therapist of the Year' award and he has been part of the medical crew for the Chicago Marathon for many years. He donates his services to The Avon Breast Cancer Walk, Chicago Arthritis Walk, Epilepsy Foundation and numerous other charitable causes.
David specializes in therapeutic and wellness massage for all ages, using a number of different modalities. He is a staunch believer of continuing education. This affords him the ability to be able to offer his clients the best work while also educating them.
Marcia Bogolub, RYT, PT
Marcia joins the Still Water team to teach Yoga. Marcia has been practicing yoga for over ten years in addition to being a physical therapist for over thirty years. The practice of yoga has informed her work as a physical therapist, and her knowledge of physical therapy has added an important dimension to her study of yoga. Principles of anatomical alignment, which are key to both P.T. and yoga, are a cornerstone of her practice.
Marcia received her 200 hours Hatha yoga teacher training certification from Chicago Yoga Center in 2008. She teaches in a variety of settings, aspiring to provide her students with a balanced practice in a supportive environment.
Rebecca Nixon Kaghan
Rebecca came to yoga for relief of chronic back pain and rapidly discovered the balance and stress relief that it provides. Amazed at its healing powers, Rebecca took her practice to deeper levels and began studying all aspects of Yoga. She is fully certified through NU Yoga Center in Chicago and has completed a Vinyasa and Anusara training as well. She loves helping people use yoga tools, including meditation, to find balance in their life. Her classes are energizing and relaxing while she focuses on creating a safe, supportive and joyful environment for her students. Yoga has changed her life, helping her to appreciate her own evolution of developing a beautiful self awareness and self-discipline.
